Page Through The Parks! (1)

Are you a book lover?
Do you love the parks as much as we do?
Do you hope to celebrate the parks with your own family or your school or classroom this year?
Let us help you kick it off with some give-aways!

First, here are our Goodreads giveaways:

In The Canyon (Liz Garton Scanlon and Ashley Wolff)
Faithful (Janet Fox)
The Camping Trip That Changed America (Barb Rosenstock)

And then, you all, do we have a GRAND (and I mean CANYON-sized) teacher-librarian give-away on rafflecopter. I’m talking signed books by all three of us, mini-Sequoia trees, Yellowstone totebag, etc etc etc — PLUS, this incredibly beautiful piece of canyon-inspired art by my own personal (and beloved) illustrator Ashley Wolff: rafflepaintingweb.

Which, I mean, seriously. We all want. A lot. Right????

So, here’s the link. ENTER!!!!
And that’s all for now, my friends.
Enjoy!

  2. What do I love about national parks? That they are there for me to soak up their beauty, learn about nature and history, and just be with all of my senses. Thank you, Liz & Ashley, for In the Canyon.

  8. National Parks are such a treasure! My wife and I just saw “National Parks Adventure” at the Omni Theatre at the Science Museum of Minnesota. What a great reminder of the beauty in nature.

  9. Beyond the amazing beauty in nature, what I especially love is that there are parks all over the country – and not just in the ‘undeveloped’ lands. I love that we can go into Boston (or many other cities) and see history come to life. I love that the NPS is keeping that history alive for all of our children to come.

  10. The national parks are a reprieve from city life for me and a place to see nature and animals where I cannot anywhere else. The best part of the parks is knowing that all of the animals are protected in them.
