"His bright side was muddy.
His high points sank low.
The grass grew much greener
in other worms’ rows.
Some days are like this.
What’s a worm gonna do?
If he is Noodle, he’ll lean on his Lou."

Noodle and Lou

Noodle is a worm who is having a very blue day. Luckily, his best friend Lou is there to help chase his blues away. This unlikely and unconditional friendship between a worm and a bird has been illustrated by Arthur Howard and was released by Beach Lane Books in Spring 2011.
