April 26, 2018 — Haiku 26

No picture today. It was just that kind of day.
An at-least-we-all-made-it-through-to-the-end-still-alive kind of day.
A Thursday-that-felt-more-like-a-Monday kind of day.
You’ve had that kind of day, right?
Still, there was time to scribble down a haiku.
I’ll call that a success.

Alarm rang early
and all day aspired toward
jarred spaghetti sauce.

As a teacher, you must understand those spaghetti sauce days!

HAHAHA. I have more days like this than I’d like to admit. I mean, when one can make FRESH pasta sauce, and it’s so EASY, doesn’t it seem like we’d do it more often?

    But, no.

      I mean, seriously?
Some terrible alchemy of tiredness and laziness?
