My very astute husband discovered this weekend, while poring through some of my research material for that budding work-in-progress, that the acknowledged expert in the field LIVES IN AUSTIN, TEXAS, as do we. Is that lovely serendipity, or what?
Now I just need to load up on enough knowledge and courage to give him a buzz.

I bet this was meant to be. Once you’ve loaded up on the knowledge and some real intriguing questions, write a nice note and then follow up with a call. I bet he’d be more than happy to let you pick his brain. And if all seems to fail, then think about your favorite kid character and what he/she would do…Makes it more interesting, doesn’t it?

Oh yeah…just put him on your spy route, write down your observations (nice ones of course) and all your great questions in a notebook, and then leave it somewhere he will find it…Hmmm…that could work!
